Invoices on desk

Applies to: Billing & payments  |  Difficulty: Beginner  |  Time: 3–7 minutes

Your Client Portal is the easiest way to review past bills, pay open invoices, and download official PDF receipts. Below is everything you need—from finding invoices to enabling Auto-Pay.

Open your invoice list

  1. Log in at https://secure.gaugehosting.com/clientarea.php.
  2. Go to Billing → My Invoices (menu labels can vary slightly by theme).

Invoice list You’ll see invoice Status (Unpaid/Paid/Cancelled/Refunded) and totals. Filter or search by invoice # or date to find what you need.

Tip: The Overdue label indicates an Unpaid invoice past its due date. Pay it to restore service and avoid late fees (if applicable).

Pay an invoice (card/PayPal)

Pay invoice online To pay, click an Unpaid invoice → choose your Payment MethodPay Now. If 3-D Secure or bank verification is required, complete the on-screen steps.

  • Auto-Pay: If you enable Auto-Pay and set a Default Method, future invoices charge automatically on the due date. (See Add/Update Payment Method & Enable Auto-Pay.)
  • Use account credit: If you have credit on file, you’ll see an Apply Credit option on the invoice—apply it first, then pay any remainder.
  • Multiple currency/cards: Pick the method that matches your account’s billing currency for the best success rate.

Download or print a PDF receipt

Download PDF invoice Open any invoice and click Download (or View PDF). Your browser can also Print to paper or save as PDF.

  • Paid invoices show a Paid stamp and include the transaction ID for your records.
  • Need your tax/VAT info on the PDF? Update your Profile → Billing Address/Tax ID, or ask Support to add your details and regenerate the invoice.

Due dates, reminders, and late fees

Invoice due date Invoices show an Issue Date and Due Date. We email reminders before/after the due date (frequency depends on settings). If your account has late fees, they appear as separate line items after the grace period.

What the statuses mean

  • Unpaid — Awaiting payment (may become Overdue after due date).
  • Paid — Fully settled; download the PDF as your receipt.
  • Cancelled — Voided and not payable.
  • Refunded — Payment reversed or credited back.

Common questions

  • I don’t see an invoice I expected. Check other billing contacts or date filters. If we recently changed plans or billing cycles, the invoice may generate later the same day.
  • My payment was declined. Verify billing address/ZIP, try another card, or contact your bank to allow the charge (3-D Secure/SCA may apply).
  • PayPal option missing? Some gateways only appear on the invoice screen. Choose PayPal there to be redirected and link payment.
  • I need the invoice emailed to accounting. Add a billing-only contact (Account → Contacts/Sub-Accounts) and enable “General Emails” / “Invoice Emails”.
