The Client Portal is your billing & account hub: pay invoices, manage payment methods, open support tickets, and launch into cPanel with one click. This guide covers creating your account, logging in, password resets, email verification, and enabling 2FA.
What you can do in the Client Portal
- Billing: view/pay invoices, set up auto-pay, update cards/PayPal.
- Services: see plan details, upgrade/downgrade, Login to cPanel.
- Support: open/reply to tickets and see service notices.
- Users: add authorized contacts/sub-accounts (with granular permissions).
- Security: enable two-factor authentication (2FA).
Create your Client Portal account
Place an order on our website. You’ll enter your email and create a password; your Client Portal account is created automatically. You’ll also receive a Welcome Email.
If we provisioned a service for you (or migrated you) but you’ve never logged in, go to the Portal login page and click Forgot Password to set your password for the first time.

Email verification: we may ask you to confirm your email address. If you don’t see the message, check your spam/junk folder and allow messages from our domain.
Access (log in) to the Client Portal
- Visit
https://secure.gaugehosting.com/clientarea.php. - Enter your account email + password and click Login.
- (Optional) Use the service page’s Login to cPanel for one-click hosting access.
Reset your password
If you’ve forgotten your password:
- Go to
https://secure.gaugehosting.com/clientarea.phpand click Forgot Password. - Enter your account email and submit.
- Check your inbox for the reset link and set a new password.
Secure your account with 2FA (recommended)
Enable two-factor authentication to prevent unauthorized access—even if a password is compromised.
- In the Portal, go to Account/Profile → Security/Two-Factor.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy) and enter the code to confirm.
- Save your backup codes in a safe place.
Invite sub-accounts (authorized contacts)
Need your bookkeeper or teammate to access billing or tickets? Add them as a sub-account with just the permissions they need.
- Portal → Account → Contacts/Sub-Accounts → Add New.
- Set the contact’s email, enable Sub-Account, choose permissions, and send an invite.
Troubleshooting
- “Invalid login details” → reset your password and ensure caps lock isn’t on.
- Stuck in a loop after login → clear browser cookies/cache or try an incognito window.
- 2FA device lost → use backup codes; if unavailable, open a ticket to verify identity and re-enable access.
